  1. Ooohhh…. The Upside of Unrequited!
I read this a few months back and it instantly became one of my highlights 2017! There was only one book that I loved more/the same. I really hope you’ll like it too!

I read the Firebird-Trilogy by Claudia Gray and absolutely loved it. I think I have to take a closer look at “Defy the Stars” 🙂 The same goes for the books by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff since literally everyone seems to love this series.

    Have a great weekend.

    1. I LOVED The Upside of Unrequited!! It has become one of my favourite 2017 reads as well! Just… gimme more of it.

YES!! Firebird is one of my favourite trilogies ever, it was so damn good. And wish there would be more Russiaverse stories, I fell completely in love with that world.
A friend of mine loved the Firebird books as well and she said Defy the Stars was even better, so I’m super hyped for it!!
And yess… Illuminae is friggin good. It’s a bit hard to get into but once you’re in, there’s no way out haha

      Have a lovely day!

      1. Yeah, right?! 😀
I am not a big fan of sequels but I would buy a second book about Molly in a heartbeat. I probably would even pre-order it (what I normally don’t do… ever) 😀

        Yes, yes, yes! Absolutely!
Normally I don’t read Sci-Fi and actually I didn’t even thought about the trilogy belonging to this genre when I ordered the first book (and I probably wouldn’t have if I were aware of it being Sci-Fi) and then was totally surprised about how much I fell in love with it!

I have to admit that “Illuminae” doesn’t really speak to my when I only look at the synopsis. As said, I am not a big fan of Sci-Fi and Dystopia isn’t for me either but I am also a person that falls really fast for hyped books 😉 If everyone says it’s good it really has to be good, right?! 😉

      2. Sci-Fi isn’t my preferred genre either, but I like it more and more the more space books I read. And Illuminae was hands down one of the best I’ve read so far. It took me a bit to get into it but IT WAS SO GOOD. The writing is just so unique, but also so great. I loved it. Every single page of it 😀

      3. Maybe Sci-Fi is one of the genre you have to “grow into”. At first it’s more like “meh” but the more books you read the more you like it. Like these songs you really don’t like when you first hear it but with time you fall in love with.

I put “Illuminae” on my birthday wish list. So maybe I will read it soon, too 🙂
