It’s spring, the sun is out more and actually warming the air. The bees are buzzing, the birds chirping and the bushes are starting to bloom. Wild garlic covers the floor of the woods, it’s allergy season. But I’m happy. I simply love spring, it is definitely my favourite season. I like those tentative greens and the leaves slowly unfurling, the stark contrasts between white blossoms and dark clouds heralding rain. I love the smell of flowers in the air wafting through the streets. There is colour everywhere, yellow bushes, purple and white and yellow flowers of all kind, red tulips, my favourite blooming trees: magnolias. There’s the blue of the sky above and the still murky waters, not yet awoken from their winter slumber. đ¸
Spring always brings something new, something better, it brings hope and warmth and light and I can’t help but be happy. And since one of the main reasons I love spring so much are the flowers blossoming everywhere, I wanted to do a list of books with flowers on the covers. I know. Groundbreaking and all that. But I absolutely love floral covers! I like surrounding myself with flowers, wether it’s cut flowers in a bouquet, on photos or dried or in art. Flowers make me feel happy and good and so did making this list! I hope you enjoy it <3đ¸
