Hoohoo, guys!

It’s already time for another book haul! In my opinion, I got some very exciting reads last month, both in English and German. I don’t think I got this many German books in years. But I’m slowly finding my way back into reading in German which is my mothertongue but it still feels weird sometimes… I don’t even know why. I also got some Polish books which I really hope I’ll be able to read someday soon even though my Polish is rudimentary at best.
But anyways, I’m here to show you what I got, so let’s go let’s go let’s go…

Anita musi się opiekować czworgiem rodzeństwa i znosić krzyki pijanego ojca. Zawsze może liczyć na sąsiedzką pomoc Aleksa, jednak gdy jest już u kresu sił, nawet jego wsparcie to za mało. Chłopak mimo własnych problemów, które wywołują w nim napady agresji, nie zamierza odpuścić i chce odmienić jej los.

THE KING’S MEN BY NORA SAKAVIC

Neilowi Jostenowi kończy się czas. Kiedy zjawił się na Uniwersytecie Palmetto, sądził, że nie przetrwa tam nawet roku. Jednak teraz gdy śmierć czyha za każdym rogiem, Neil ma więcej powodów, żeby żyć niż kiedykolwiek wcześniej.
Przyjaźń z Lisami nie była dobrym pomysłem. Neil powinien zachować dystans i z nikim się nie wiązać, lecz ignorowanie Andrew nigdy nie należało do prostych rzeczy. Może, kiedy obaj uznają, że nic ich nie łączy, Neilowi będzie łatwiej odpuścić. Jednak ostatnią osobą, którą powinien okłamywać, jest on sam.
Neil chce dotrzymać swojej obietnicy i pragnie poprowadzić drużynę do zwycięstwa. Aby to zrobić, jeszcze przez jakiś czas powinien unikać konfrontacji z Riko.
Ale Riko nie jest jedynym potworem w jego życiu.
Prawda może zabić ich wszystkich albo być jedyną szansą Neila na przetrwanie.
