a look into my bookshelf #1 | authors starting with A

06/04/2020

Hoohoo, guys.

You know what? I love my bookshelves. And since I’m not too much of a fan of videos (watching and making) I thought why not make a bookshelf tour on the blog? This will take many, many posts because the shelves are vast and the books are many. So I decided to begin with having a look at the authors sitting there. Since I’ve sorted my books after author surnames A-Z it makes sense for me to do the posts in alphabetical order as well. And here are the authors starting with “A”:

These are all the auhtors whose surname starts with “A”. In total 17 authors with 50 books shared among them. How many A-starting authors do you have on your shelf? Who is your favourite? Who is very high up on your tbr?

Until next time,

  1. Hey Kat,

did I mention that your shelf looks awesome? Because it does. I really like the way you organized your books even though I never considered organizing mine in alphabetical order. ^^

“The Poet X” is still on my wish list, same goes for “Leah on the Offbeat”, “Pride and Prejudice” and “The Bear and the Nightingale” even though I didn’t realize until now that the latter is part of a trilogy.
I read the first book in the Lux series but never continued as I didn’t like it very much and came to the conclusion that I just don’t get along with the author (I also read the first two books of the Covenant series and loved them, and then I read “Vampire Academy” and realized that the first – being published later – has a few to many similarities which kinda destroyed my trust).

According to my review index I have ten books by seven authors having a surname that starts with an A but some older books in my shelf are missing like the Starcrossed-trilogy by Josephine Angelini. ^^

    Love, Dana <3

    1. hoohoo!
      thank you so much!! <3
The Bear and the Nightingale was amazing! And Leah on the Offbeat as well! The Poet X has been sitting on my shelf for a while even though I'm quite excited to finally read it (hopefully soon).
Yeah I understand what you mean. I read the Lux series when I was 17? 18? and I loved them but to be honest, I'm not sure if I would still like them now if I reread them. And I haven't read Covenant yet. Will I ever?
      Happy reading!
      Kat
