  3. Hi Kat,

I definitely like your challenge but as I am not quite the type for challenges in general I won’t participate … but still hope to find some great book recommendations. 😀
As for other books I thought of, while reading this post … I have read “I Do Not Come To You By Chance” by Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani this year which takes place in Nigeria. And “A Crack in Everthing” by Ruth Frances Long takes places in Dublin and “Sechzehn WÖrter” (Nava Ebrahimi) ist mostly set in the Iran. Apart from that, I have also read a few biographies with a setting outside Europe (“I am Malala” – Pakistan, “The Last Girl” – Iraq, “Taking Flight” – party Sierra Leona).

I am definitely going to take a closer look upon some of the books you are listing here!

    Love, Dana
